On June 8, 9, and 10, a play based upon the stories of Guy de Maupassant opened in Paris.
Jean Gabin's grandson Alexis (he's on the left) starred in the play, "La Paix du menage," and received uniformly excellent reviews! Alexis is the son of Jean Gabin's son, Mathias.
The Gabin Tradition of Excellence continues!
(Stories by Guy de Maupassant make up Jean Gabin's classic 1952 triptych Le Plaisir, which was directed by Marcel Ophuls.)
